About
Jordan Awoye
I am an investment professional with experience across investment banking, underwriting support, and fiduciary capital allocation, focused on disciplined decision-making where downside protection and structure matter more than transaction volume.
I currently serve as a Managing Director at Weild & Co., a FINRA-registered broker-dealer, where my work centers on capital structuring, pre-engagement underwriting, and committee-ready diligence for middle-market and financial-services businesses. My responsibilities include evaluating business fundamentals, capital structure risk, governance considerations, and downside scenarios, and making formal recommendations on whether prospective transactions should advance or be declined.
In parallel, I have operated as the Founder and Managing Principal of Awoye Capital, advising clients on capital allocation, risk management, and long-term financial structure under a fiduciary framework. Earlier in my career, I served as a General Securities Principal (Series 24), overseeing supervision, compliance, and execution standards.
I am pursuing a Principal-level investing role at an upper-middle-market private credit or capital solutions platform, with responsibility for deal screening, underwriting ownership, investment committee exposure, and portfolio monitoring. I am not pursuing a fundraising or investor-relations role. My value is in judgment, structure, and decision quality. Particularly in situations where the correct decision is to say no.

WHAT I DON’T DO

• I do not market securities publicly
• I do not operate as a consultant or executive coach
